Greetings, Time to dust off those karts and get'em tuned up, double event weekends are back! Sprint racing will take place Saturday, February 22nd, and the 2014 Endurance season will kick off on Sunday the 23rd. This years Endurance series will feature 2 classes on the track at the same time. In addition to the usual Modified class, the Stock class will be returning, should be exciting and a little nerve racking. March will be a busy month at Monticello Karting. The March Sprint event is scheduled for Saturday the 8th, and the Endurance event will be Sunday the 23rd. This year the Florida Karting Championship Series (FKCS) will be visiting MKMC on March 28th and 29th. If you want to get in on the racing action at Monticello Karting, stop by the track and check out the karts for sale. In addition to the New inventory there are currently 2 used 125cc Sprint karts and 2 used Stock Endurance karts available, inventory changes weekly. Not sure if you want to buy a kart, a couple of karts may be available for rent for the Endurance series stock class, put a team together and reserve yours asap. See you at the track. Ken

Any idea on the race schedule for the first half of 2015? I have to have my weekend class schedule for 2015 submitted by January 5th. I would prefer to schedule around the races; so I can race . Thanks, Craig

The weather for this weekend's (6/20/15) upcoming race is expected to be sunny with temperatures in the upper 90s. The heat index is expected to reach well above 100 degrees, 108 to 112. Now is the time to begin hydrating for the weekend. Increase your fluid consumption beginning now. Gradually add more fluid to your daily intake so that by the time Saturday rolls around your body tissues will be thoroughly hydrated. See you at the track!
