The solution, as painful as it may seem is to purchase a bunch of jets, the tools to test them and choose the ones with in your classes range.

Just a "heads up" to all the Monticello regulars. Easykart has mandated that we only use the following two rebuild kits for the carburators. (Per the revised rulebook) The RK114HL and the RK117HL. These are the ONLY legal parts you can use in your carb. Any other parts used could cause a DQ. Better check!!

Zwartkops, don't get hung up on the "deltronic" part of the measurement pins. These jet tools are simple pin gages that cost about $4.00/ea. I am in the business of Inspection and Measurement (Metrology) and you can purchase the pin gages painlessly at www.mcmaster.com (Mcmaster Carr) They can be purchased over or under the dimension you are measuring. Also the grade or accuracy needs selection and for our purposes Class Z (tolerance .0001"/.0025mm) is more than adequate. Its best to use a + gage or "over" for the smallest jet allowable so you are on the safe side. Likewise its best to use a - gage or "under" if you ever operate on the high end of jets which most of us wont ever do at this altitude and temperature. If you need help specing them out, E-Mail me at rstevens@smallparts.com Good Day. Bob/Bobby EK 100 #35
