Bob old buddy, I see you "lurking" quietly behind the scenes on the forum. Are you sure we can't convice you to come up and give it the old College Try one more time?. We really need you as there is just no controversy this year. We have nobody to harass the tech guys without you!

Rich, I keep checking in but like Ken says........Its awful quiet out there. On the subject of Tech, I wonder how that will work with the usual perception of a potential conflict of interest. It's always an interesting scenario, even more than last year with Easykart Fla. essentially owning the Series and the Event, sponsoring multiple drivers including a family member, and I suppose wrenching on the karts. Don't know how Tech could be autonomous. I thought possibly Emiliakart would do the bidding since they did a good job in the races we were involved with but I see they have sponsored quite a few entries also. I suppose someone from Birel will officiate the process. Did you figure out how to negate that Home Track Advantage yet? ?? Slippery rear tires should put a spin (no pun intended) on the racing and make it a little more interesting. Good Luck to all you guys/girls and have a safe exciting weekend! Bob/Bobby EK100 #35

Bob, your right. Once again this year we have the wolf guarding the chicken coop. (I put it in Hooterville terms for easy understanding) (yes that was a shot) I mean no disrespect to the Italian gentlemen coming for tech, but look who brought them in. There is opportunity for favoritism during tech. We have the same concerns every year and our comments are pushed aside. I guess we''ll wait and see? As far as the Home field advantage, nothing was done. We thought we'd leave the regular track in place to make sure the Monticello racers had a chance. Now I have alienated tech and all the Monticello regulars. Is anyone left? Homestead racers will just go up and race. We don't need an advantage. We will race shopping karts if that's what they give us. Come on guys, get invovled, participate and promote the race. Those of you hanging on the fringes, sign up, it will be a fun weekend.

Ya know last year the same perception was there when it was Easykart America, RYSA Racing, all essentially owned and operated by the same individual and also competing in the National Championship. There were some serious demons knawing on me at the main event and we ended up in tech having won the event. We were not scrutinized or picked apart anymore than the rest of the field that was teched. The demons left the building. I suppose you have to have a little trust in the principals putting on the event. They have your trust starting out......its only theirs to lose. It would be nice to see the USA Team represented by drivers from the USA. Kick butt. (even if you live in Tennessee or Georgia!!!) Bob/Bobby EK100 #35

Bob, I agree, we need to trust the "powers to be" until they prove that they can't be. So far, so good! As far as including Tennesse and Georgia in the United States... The jury is still out on that. That would include Karl!
