Rich, TJ said you emptied out his race trailer to take North with you for spares. He wanted me to remind you those rain tires only had a few laps on them and the "mudders" were like brand new in case the easement on the front straight gets a little "boggy". Well, I'm here after 7.5 hours of driving. Stopped at the track this afternoon and am happy to report all the grass I killed last time has come back big time! The weather is hot. I was hoping it to be a bit cooler than Homestead, but that is not in the cards. Hopefully won't need those rain tires. My theory is... If you have them ready, you won't need them. Bob, I will represent Homestead to the very best of my ability. Oh well, I guess I should leave now? Not many "Southerners" made the trip North to the North pole here, so I suppose I will have to carry the team. I will hook up with the gang tomorrow but for now, a couple of beers and then bed. Being a Geezer, I need lots of sleep. I'll report in tomorrow.

Its "Virtual Racing" this year for us in the National Championship or should I call it the "International Invitational". We will have to race vicariously thru you so keep it out of the woods...........I heard there are rattle snakes the size of the Pythons we have down here. Good Luck, and if you cant find that..................... then have a good ole time anyway. Bob/Bobby EK 100 #35

Hi Bob All is well to the North. We miss the cloud of controversy that seems to surround you. Practice went well yesterday. Getting it dialed in. I'm running very close to last time's lap times even with the Vegas. Once I do the final tuneup today should be flying. Weather has been p/cloudy and hot. I was expecting to race in the rain for Saturday, but this mornings weather implyed it might hold off till late Saturday. Boy I sure hope so. 80MPH in the rain would certainly be scary. Keep thinking those good thoughts and one of us Southern boys will come home with the gold. That's all for now from the "Invitational International" I'll report in tonight. Rich
