Do you mean the buy one get one free from last year... If you buy a brand new kart , they give you the company...... I think Peter Pestano should be the vice president, he was the second customer last year... Any way good bye joffrey...........

Rich, We have heard from Jorge concerning the "administrative" change. The last time we were told about changes it involved new rules, different tires and different engines, etc., etc. We thought that we had a good thing going up here and the new rules seemed to create a bunch of problems (such as wrong steering wheels, seats, tires, to name a few) so we stuck with our own set of rules and have been doing just fine. JC has been "recycling" used Easykarts just about as fast as we can find them, 8 karts during the last few weeks (I think). He may still be selling more Easykarts than anyone else. I understand that most of the changes originated with Birel. They (Birel) had gotten into the engine business and had partnered with Vega so requiring "in house" products seemed like a smart business ($$$) decision. This may work great for Italian racers, the problem that American racers are faced with is a single source for replacement parts, when Easykart Florida does not have a part(s), the racer is SOL. Birel is located over 6K miles away and does not service individual customers (even if they speak the same language) and MRP does not supply Easykart or BMB products, so Easykart Florida is the only game in town. Easykart has been a great product for Monticello Karting, and as long as the "administration" works with their customers, understand and reacts to their needs, Easykart will continue to bring new blood into karting. After all, isn't that why Easykart was created in the first place? Jorge is a great guy. I have enjoyed his friendship and respect him as a businessman and a racer and wish him well in this venture. By the way, If he ever need help lifting his kart, run the other way. Hope to see you in Homestead for the FKCS. Ken

It is good news for eveybody Easykart is a great product and will be in the future. We see things different at MKMC. It is common thinking in the kating industry that if we had a competitive product at low price it will bring more people in karting. That is why some people get karts manufactured in China or why the clone class is getting so popular. At MKMC we have discovered the philosophal stone of karting. We are buying and selling used Easykarts between $1500 and $3000 with memberships. Those karts are ready to race and are competitive against pretty much anything on the market as Nick Rickert and others have proved in the last FKCS championship for a fraction of the cost. We keep using yellow MG tires and it makes Easykarts faster than any Rotax with Mojo tires or any TAG with Bridgestone tires. So, we race less expensive karts which go faster and cost less money to run ...... I told you we are starting to feel like geniuses up there.

Hi guys, I can see you have indeed heard the news. Yes there could be some of the same "old issues", but with Jorge at the helm, I see a huge improvement in the communication and cooperation between management and the racer. You are right about the parts situation. If the "distributor" doesn't order parts, we don't get parts. I am not bashing Joffrey as he has done nothing negative to me personally, but that was one of the biggest problems. We can only hope that things will improve. I know Jorge very well and have the utmost of respect for him both as a friend and a racer. I have no doubt he will get things turned around. One thing hasn't changed... Easykart is still the fastest kart for the money out there. Isn't that what we all really want anyway? Let's put aside all of the political crap and just enjoy the sport we all love so much!! I won't be racing in Homestead next week, but I will be flagging, so I'll get to see all of my Northern buddies. Travel safe guys, see you next weekend.
